Our History
We are located in Gallatin, TN, which is fitting for us. The city has so much history behind it, just like our agency. Holt & Legge Insurance was originally founded in 1881 in Hartsville, TN, by the Donoho family and remained in the Donoho family until 2011. In 2004, Daryl Holt became a partner and opened our Gallatin, TN, office. In 2006, Reese Legge joined the agency. In 2011, operations were consolidated to the Gallatin office under the Capital Risk Management Group umbrella to better serve Middle Tennessee. A partnering office was also opened in Knoxville, TN, in 2011, operating as Knoxville Insurance Group.
